How to pair with the Bluetooth remote controller?
Place the remote control within 10cm from the device, press “return” and “home” buttons on the remote control at the same time, release them when the indicator light flashes continuously. After hearing a “Ding” sound, pairing is successful. If pairing failed, exit pairing mode, follow the above steps to pair again after 30 seconds.
Does the XGIMI Assistant App feature a remote control function?
Yes, it does. The XGIMI Assistant app can work as an alternative remote control, it also has many more useful functions. Can I connect my external speakers to Z6?
Yes, you can connect your external speakers to Z6 via HDMI (arc), Bluetooth and Aux jack
How to use XGIMI Z6 projector as a Bluetooth speaker?
In projection mode:press power button on remote control, then select speaker mode on the menu to enter Bluetooth speaker mode. In shutdown mode: long press play button on CC/H2/Z6 and enter Bluetooth speaker mode.

3D Setting
How to achieve 3D effect?
1) When playing videos, short press menu button : "video settings" -"3D setup" - choose the related modes. You can see all options: 3D view; 3D to 2D; Convert to 3D 2) When the screen is combined and a blurred picture appears (the dual screen), wear 3D glasses and adjust the buttons on the 3D glasses until you can see the image clearly. It's ecommended to purchase XGIMI original 3D glasses for better performance and viewing experience.
Instruction of 3D glasses
Charging time: around 2-3 hours Power on: press the power button, one flash of the green LED light means the glasses have been turned on. Power off: long press the power button for 3 seconds, the green LED light would flash for 3 times. Standby status: over 5 seconds without 3D signal, glasses would automatically turn to standby mode, the green LED light would flash every 5 seconds USB charging: Red indicator light on when charging, and it goes off after being fully charged. Low battery mode: when 3D glasseshave​s low battery, the green LED light flashes 5 times continuously, then 2 times every 10 seconds. That means you need to feed it. To use 3D glasses, the first press would turn it on, the second press would adjust the image quality, and keep pressing it to adjust the 3D effect on glasses untill the image is clear. ( You need to choose the up/down 3D or left/right 3D effect when playing videos on the projector)
Can I watch 3D movie or switch 2D to 3D?
Yes! 3D movie, 2D to 3D, 3D to 2D are all supported.
Connection
Can I mirror the screen of my device on Z6?
Yes, there are many ways for you to stream content from your device to XGIMI projectors. 1. With Wi-Fi, make sure your device and XGIMI projector are connecting to the same Wi-Fi, then mirror the device via Airplay, DLNA, XGIMI Assistant (Android device), Miracast; 2. Without Wi-Fi, turn on the hotspot function (H2/Z6), connect your device with the XGIMI hotspot in the ​Wi-Fi setting of your device. Then mirror the device via methods mentioned in 1; 3. Wired: HDMI;
Will XGIMI projectors work with other external devices like hard drive, laptop, TV box and PS4?
Yes, you can connect them to your XGIMI projector via the USB or HDMI port.

Can I sideload Android apps onto my Xgimi projector?
Yes, you can download them from the Internet and install them via a USB drive: 1. Change the Apk suffix to Apk.1 on computer: e.g.change youtube.apk to youtube.apk.1 PS: The suffix limitation will be removed soon, and you don't have to change suffix then. 2. Copy the apk to the root directory of the U-disk. 3. Plug the USB in your projector: " File Manager"- "Removable Storage" - " APK " short press ok - choose "Others"- open with" package installer" - "install

How to turn on/off Z6?
Plug in power source, when white indicator light goes off, then press the power button on device / remote comntrol to turn it on. In projection mode, press the power button on device / remote comntrol to turn it off.
How large Xgimi Z6 can project?
Throw ratio is the ratio of the distance from the lens to the screen (throw) to the screen width, when the distance from lens to screen is same, the smaller the projection ratio is, the larger the screen can throw. 100-inch @ 3meters. H2: 1.2:1 (30-300'') Z6: 1.2:1 (30-180'') MoGo: 1.2:1 (30-100+'')
Focus adjustment
Manual-focus: Switch function key on the remote control to the right, press +/- button to manually adjust the focus. Auto-focus: 1. Switch function key on the ​remote control to right, the device will automatically be focused. 2. Turn on "auto focus when power on" and the device will automatically be focused when turn on.
Does Z6 have a zooming feature?
Yes, you can zoom in or out to adjust the screen.​ "Image Setting" - "Keystone Correction" - "Side Projection Mode" - "Zoom Screen"
Does it support both vertical and horizontal keystone corrections?
Yes! Front projection mode: with auto and manual vertical keystone correction. Side projection mode: with manual horizontal keystone correction (up/down/right/left four corners adjustment)
Can I change time and date?
Yes! You can change it in General Settings - More Settings (long press the left button on the remote control) - Date and Time
Can I change the fan speed?
Yes! You can change it in General Settings - More Settings (long press the left button on the remote control) - Fan Speed Make sure the fan speed is set to "Auto"

What should I do to avoid the audio/video delay?
1) Check whether you have adjusted keystone correction? If you did, reset to default and have a check. 2)Close motion compensation: "Image Settings"-"Video Settings"-"Image Settings " - choose the ​ replated mode and close motion compensation 3) Choose "Game Mode" : "Image Settings"-"Video Settings"​-"Image Settings" - "Game Mode"
What should I do if my projecor automatically shuts down?
Automatical shutdown: 1. Check if there is an over-heating report? 2. The last action before it automatically shut down? 3. Check if the wind still blows​ after shutdown? 4. What should I do if I see a red or yellow screen?
1) Check luminance/brightness For Z4, CC, H1: Check whether you‘ve adjusted "LED Luminance" to "Custom" Mode? Picture color will be a bit yellower in Custom Mode. You can go to "Projection Setting" - " LED Luminance" - then manually adjust luminance mode. For Z6, H2: Check whether you've adjusted "Brightness" to "High" mode? Picture color will be a bit yellower in High Mode. My projector is overheated, what should i do?
1. Check if the outside temperature is in a regular situation? (under 40° ) 2. Check if the temperature of the​ device itself is in a regular situation? (under 55°) System settings- System information- Temperature 3. Check if the outlet vent has been blocked? 4. Check whether you've set it to "Auto" mode. What should I do if my projecor is unable to boot or automatically shut down?

What should I do if there is an abnormal noise from the fan?
Normally, the noise from the fan would be ≤30 DB, please make sure you've adjusted the fan to " Auto mode" If you have any other issues, please contact us via email with the needed info: 1. The video of fan noise 2. Tilt/rotate it to the side or upside down to check the noise still exists 3. The temperature of your projector in the ​system. You can go to "System Setup" - "System Information" - "Temperature" to check.
How to remove the soap opera effect?
Turn off the motion compensation: "Image Settings" - "Video Settings" - "Image Settings "- choose the ​​replated mode and close motion compensation
My remote control doesn't work, what should i do?
For remote control with metal case: 1. Check what indicator light appears when you press any key of the remote. (Red means disconnection or out of power, it needs to be reset or be charged; green means unpaired; blue means successful pairing) 2. If there is no indicator light, please reset your remote by using a needle to press the reset button at the bottom of the remote. You will see the red indicator light blinks. After that, press home and return key at the same time for three seconds to repair the remote with your device 3. Fully charge your remote for at least 3 hours 4. Kindly remove all the connected Bluetooth devices, try to reconnect and pair again, just in case the indicator light defects "System Setup" - "Connection/Network Setup" - "Bluetooth" For remote control with plastic case: 1. Check whether the orange light is on when you press any key of the remote. No light- change a pair of batteries 2.
